So....I've been a Google Music All Access user since the very beginning. I started the subscription on day one so I could get the limited time promotional pricing haha. I liked it so much I just kept it.

Now I've heard about Spotify before but never really tried it. Recently (2 days ago) I decided to give it a try and it comes with a 30 day free trial of Spotify premium. I've been using it for a few days and there's one huge difference between Google's offering and Spotify that makes me want to switch to Spotify.

The music player and album art screen on the two services are dramatically different. The way Spotify has done their ui is fantastic! The ambient background that mimics the album art is my favorite part. I'm kind of partial to the darker themes of apps and services I guess.

I'm going to post two pictures of the same song playing on both services. I'm curious to see other people's reaction. Let me know which one you like better.

In my opinion the ui on Spotify is better for two reasons. 1. You get the full album art and 2. a darker ui looks better and is easier on the eyes. I would like to see Google have a theme option like other apps and services have to choose the "default" theme or a "dark" theme.
